CONHAM: BRISTOL-BATH RIVER PATH

Leader: Giles Morris (07712 398903)

We will meet at the Conham River Car Park on Conham Road at ST629721 (or  BS15 3AW) for a walk along the Bristol-Bath River path.  The approach along Crew’s Hole Road is narrow and the carpark is on a sharp right-hand bend, so needs a cautious approach. We will walk up the tow path and should see and hear a variety of woodland and river bird species. The heronry should be active and there is always the chance of a kingfisher. Also of interest are the plants, trees and history of this wonderfully hidden site at the heart of a great city.

The walk is open to all, but please contact the leader if you intend to join us.
