RSPB Ham Wall on the Somerset Levels is one of the best birding sites in our area and a real conservation success story. BNS member, Bob Buck, has been a volunteer on the reserve from the very early days of its development. He tells the story of how the reserve was transformed from an industrial peat extraction site into one of the best wetland reserves in the country.
