Location
Picking up another section of the moor from where we explored two years ago, we will be
looking at aquatic and rhyne-bank vegetation, including the likes of Arrowhead Sagittaria
sagittifolia and Water-violet Hottonia palustris (in leaf, not flower in this month) – perhaps
even seeing some stoneworts!
The topography is flat, but wear wellies if you are feeling intrepid. Park in the
nearby (and very aptly named!) Rhyne View Road, Watery Lane or Parish Brook Road
(postcode: BS48 2FZ), and converge at the entrance to North Drove at ST45797057.
