This is a joint meeting with the BOC.

Meet in the National Trust car park at Sand Point (ST 330659; What3words: octopus.assemble.throwaway) at 09:00 for a walk around the Point and along to Middle Hope. Migration should be in full swing with the Point being a prime landfall. Parking free for NT members with your card.

We will walk up to the point and along towards Middle Hope. This is always an interesting spot for migrant passerines in the trees and scrub of the headland. Hopefully some of the spring migrants will be moving through, in which case rarities are always possible. We shall also take the chance to see what waders are in Sand Bay and Woodspring Bay. The terrain is roughish, so suitable footwear is advisable and, being a coastal site, it will be exposed to whatever weather the day throws up, so please dress appropriately. We should finish at about noon.

Please let the leader know if you intend to join the trip by using the form below.
