Meet for a 10 a.m. start at Bristol Water’s Woodford Lodge (Grid Ref: ST565607, ///subjects.selling.deeds) which is located off the B3114 road between Chew Stoke and West Harptree on the left hand side of the road after leaving Chew Stoke.
We will visit some of the enclosures and hides around the Lake for which it is essential to be in possession of a permit (£6 for a day). This can be obtained either on the Website of Bristol Water Fisheries on the “Season permits and Fisheries” page, by telephone 01275 332339 or from Woodford Lodge on the day. Allow sufficient time for postage.
There should be a good selection of ducks, gulls, waders and passerines.
The meeting will end about 1p.m
