A chance to join in the fun of the BSBI’s annual New Year Plant Hunt – a gently competitive slice of citizen science and botanical intrigue. How many species can we find in flower in the historic docks over a three-hour search? How will that total compare to those of others around the UK and Ireland?
Meet outside the entrance to the M Shed (on Princes Wharf, just off Wapping Road) at midday. There is a small car park at Wapping Wharf, but this fills up quickly so allow time to find other parking elsewhere nearby if driving.
