Meet at the NT car park (ST 330659, What3words: ///octopus.assemble.throwaway) at the northern end of Sand Bay at 9am. (There is a charge to park here now for non-members of NT)
We will walk up to the point and along towards Middle Hope. This is always an interesting spot for migrant passerines in the trees and scrub of the headland. Hopefully some of the spring migrants will be moving through, in which case rarities are always possible. We shall also take the chance to see what waders are in Sand Bay and Woodspring Bay. The terrain is roughish, so suitable footwear is advisable and, being a coastal site, it will be exposed to whatever weather the day throws up, so please dress appropriately. We should finish at about noon.
