City botany is always tombola of curios and around Bristol’s historic centre there can be rich pickings late into the autumn and early winter. With its variety of features, from ancient walls to river’s edge, Castle Park is a great place to begin. Thence we shall wander through Redcliffe and surrounds looking for plants – native, non-native, all welcome – that have made a home on our streets and walls.
Meet by the northern end of Castle Bridge (the squiggly one) at ST59177306 ///hood.leaned.coherent, NCP car park available of Newgate.
