The Museum is in North Somerset; at the heart of the town of Radstock and close to the A367. BA3 3EP.
The museum has an excellent section on coal mining and the local geology as well as a recreations of a miner’s cottage, the village shop, the village school and the blacksmith’s. If the weather is favourable, we may take a walk to the Writhlington spoil heap in the afternoon (tbc). The museum also has a tea shop for light refreshments.
Entry fee will be £5/person as part of a group rate.
