“BIODIVERSITY IN THE FARMED ENVIRONMENT?”
Speaker: Rupert Higgins, BNS President
The talk will explore the history and future of agriculture’s relationship with wildlife, discussing in particular whether there is a potential future for biodiversity within an intensively farmed landscape and, if so, what needs to be done to secure that future. The evening will draw heavily on the speaker’s experience of monitoring birds, plants and insects on farms in the Cotswolds but should have wider relevance.
Venue: Create Centre, B Bond, Smeaton Road, Bristol BS1 6XN
Free parking onsite – obtain permit at reception
