Winter twigs and anything else of interest, Leigh Woods. We will use guides including John Poland’s The Field Key to Winter Twigs to identify as many trees as we can without all their summer finery on show. Among the species present are the Wild Service Tree Sorbus torminalis. This is a diverse and dynamic woodland there is always plenty of interest.
