Stockwood Open Space is a Local Nature Reserve owned by Bristol City Council and managed in partnership with Avon Wildlife Trust. It has a wonderful array of species-rich meadows, hedgerows, ponds and woodland and thus a very diverse flora. In particular, we should see a large population of Bath Asparagus Ornithogalum pyrenaicum, Dyer’s Greenweed Genista tinctoria and many species of calcareous grassland.
