The site includes several gravel pit lakes, mature woodland and parkland. This is a well-watched site and a good variety of birds is expected due to its multiple habitats.
Meet at the car park at the far end of the village green. From the A38, just south of M5 J13, take the B4071 towards Frampton on Severn. Just before the Bull pub, turn left to bisect the village green. When the green starts to narrow opposite the Horseshoe pub, turn left into Watery Lane where there is a small car park (GL2 7DX, ///hobbies.ferrying.roofs, ST747075)
