Meet at 10:00 – at Beach Road, Severn Beach, (ST539852, BS35 4PE). NB – this is the northern part of Beach Road next to the park below the Sea Wall.
We will walk north along the sea wall towards New Passage and the Pilning Wetlands. With the path now open through to the Wetlands, we shall be looking out for signs of passage migrants, both passerines and waders. High tide will be at about 11:30, so the waders and wildfowl should be close in. Anyone with a telescope will find them very useful.
The path is flat but could well be muddy and is also exposed if the weather is inclement; appropriate footwear and clothing is advised. The meeting will end around 13:00.
