Troopers’ Hill Local Nature Reserve in St George is a former Pennant sandstone quarry and one of the few areas within the Bristol area where one can find heathland and acid grassland. Our previous meeting here in August 2021 was a success and we are thus planning another field meeting here, but earlier in the season to see what we can find earlier in the year.
