Walton Common is a SSSI managed by the Avon Wildlife Trust located just northeast of Clevedon. The best place for parking is the lay-by at Walton Street, just past the pond on the Clevedon Golf Club grounds. The site comprises a mixture of woodland and calcareous grassland grazed by Dexter cattle and houses some notable invertebrates such as Grizzled Skippers and oil beetles. We are likely to be out for a few hours and hopefully we can add a number of species to the site list. Please notify Maico Weites by filling in the form below if you are interested in attending.
