Meet in the Snuff Mills Car Park, 14 River View, Stapleton, Bristol BS16 1DL at 10am.
You have to pay for parking: £3.00 cash for up to 5 hours (or £3.40 on RingGo)
To get there by bus, m1 m3 m4 all go from Broadmead Lewins Mead to Begbrook, Broomhill and the car park is a 10 – 15 mins walk from there.
We will walk along the Frome Valley, up through Vassall Park and Oldbury Court, rejoining the Frome and coming back down the river path. I hope we will hear and see plenty of woodland birds and there is always a chance of Kingfishers, Grey Wagtails and Dippers. There may be some muddy areas. There is a small kiosk for drinks and snacks in the carpark, and we should finish by 12.45.
