This meeting will be in two parts:

Members can join us at either of the venues.
Meet at the car park at New Fancy View (Grid Ref: SO 628 095, ///gala.worlds.comb) at 1830 hours. Go through the village of Parkend on to Fancy Road. Turn left after just under a mile and the New Fancy View car park is on the right after a quarter of a mile. We will have a short walk here and possibly also at Cannop Ponds.
We will then move on to the car park near Speech House (///ship.guideline.butterfly) and walk about 1km to Crabtree Hill hopefully to see and hear the roding of Woodcock and also Nightjars hunting flying insects at dusk. It is advisable to bring a torch for the return walk and insect repellent.
