In 2015 the Yatton and Congresbury Wildlife Action Group (YACWAG) held an event called Know the Yeo on the Millennium Green at Congresbury. It was a very successful event apart from being curtailed by a violent storm! Bristol Naturalists came down to Congresbury and helped out with activities, including the rhyne dipping, nature walks, identification of species, etc.
YACWAG is planning another Know the Yeo to be held on Sunday 8th June as part of the Festival of Nature, whose theme this year is Water and would appreciate any support the Bristol Naturalists’ Society could give us on the day.
